Here comes the sun?
What a busy AGM we had! Once again, thank you for re-electing me as your President. I hope some of you did learn a bit about ACWW. I have sent out a link provided by Jane Finnerty with much more information should you wish to learn more. Let’s all start looking for those old and foreign coins and any spare loose change.
A big welcome to Cynthia and Hazel, our two latest new members. Susan and Julie both came as visitors and we hope to welcome them back in April.
Don’t forget to pick up your new Programme for 2026/27 which will be available at the April meeting.
The new committee will be busy allocating duties. We are very grateful for all the help given by non-committee members too – it really helps.
Eight of our members attended the Oxfordshire Federation’s annual meeting this week in Cassington. Our secretary Jean will report to us on it at the April meeting.
Welfare Officer: Members who are poorly and might like a visit? We try very hard to keep in touch with you all. Contact Hilary.
Lunch Club: Tuesday 23 April 12.30 pm at the Spread Eagle.

Walking group: It is hoped this will resume when we have better weather. One more organiser is needed. Contact Dawn.
Coffee Club: Sunday 28 March (a change of date to avoid Easter Sunday) and a change of venue as they are booked for a cream tea at the Riverside Café.
Craft group: Friday 27 March. Bring your own project and share ideas. Contact Hilary.
Art Group: Every 2nd and 4th Monday at Northcourt Centre. Contact Viv.
Monthly meeting Tuesday 14 April when Tony Eaton investigates the curious disappearance of Major Glenn Miller.
PLUS – Denise has kindly done a 60s music quiz for you all to have ago at.
Jubilee Group meeting Tuesday 28 April in the afternoon at Drayton Village Hall. “Pandemonium Entertains”.

Saturday 4 July – trip to Oxford Playhouse to see “The Rhythm of Life”, a celebration of musical theatre – Oxford Operatic Society’s summer production. There will be a list for those interested in going at the April meeting.
