August 2021 newsletter

Good afternoon ladies
I was delighted to see so many of you at the garden party in July, but disappointed not to be able join you all at Blewbury Manor, though pleased to hear you had enjoyed your day. Trine sent me some pictures, both the gardens and sculptures looked amazing.
Moving to next month, on Tuesday 9 September our speaker Jeff Rozelaar’s talk is on Winston Churchill. Jeff will start his talk at 1.45 pm and this will be followed by tea during which time we can run through any business.
We hope to circulate information of our programme for the coming months which will include a Pottery Workshop with Marcella in November and a Christmas Party at our December meeting. If you have attended any interesting meetings or talks which you think we would all enjoy, please let us know and we could consider them for our 2022 programme.
We are also looking at restarting the Craft Group again, if members are happy to meet together, Covid restrictions allowing.
Finally a reminder that we still need to wear a mask on entry to the Northcourt Centre; though once in the hall they can be removed.
I hope to see you all at our meeting next month, in the meantime take care and stay safe.
Moira.
