Golly – how time flies!
What a fascinating story we heard from Christine at the last meeting about her experience with The Repair Shop. And all that food! Thank you so much.
I do my best with the sound-system, but some members still have a problem hearing properly when we have a speaker. Can l ask you please not to chat amongst yourselves when the speaker is talking. There’ll be plenty of chance to catch up at coffee time.

This is always a busy time of the year with a lot of dates to remember. The clocks went back to add to the confusion.
We have started discussing Abingdon Fitzharrys WI’s Diamond Anniversary in February 2026. I hope you are all ready to celebrate this milestone.

Lunch Club Wednesday 26 November 12.30 pm at the Spread Eagle. There is also a Christmas lunch club meeting on Tuesday 16 December. Contact Pauline.
Walking group Monday 10 November. Meet at 11 am at the entrance to Harcourt Arboretum, Nuneham Courtenay. Tickets available to purchase on the day. Followed by lunch at Notcutts Garden Centre. Contact Dawn.
Coffee Club Sunday 2 November 2 pm onwards at Coffee Aroma, High Street, Abingdon.
Craft Group Friday 28 November 2pm at Northcourt Centre. Felted Scandinavian hearts with Trine. Contact Hilary.
Art Group Every 2nd and 4th Monday morning of the month at Northcourt Centre. Contact Viv.
Next monthly meeting Tuesday 11 November at 1.30 pm. We are having a “Create and Chat‘’session.
Bring food magazines, paper scissors, a glue stick if you have one and an OPEN MIND. Also consider bringing suitable goodies for the Christmas tombola we are planning at the December meeting.
Christmas lunch at the Merry Miller, Cothill. Thursday 4 December. Please send choices and payment if you wish to go and haven’t put your name down yet. The cut off date is at the next monthly meeting on 11 November.
Remember to start gathering new toiletries, hats, gloves, socks etc for our Christmas collection for the homeless.
Sunday 18 January The Sound of Music at the New Theatre, Oxford. Names on the list will receive tickets in due course.
