October 2021 newsletter

It was good to see you all enjoying Jeff Rozelaar‘s talk on ‘Young Winston’ at our September meeting.  I thought he was excellent and I look forward to hearing the second half of the talk early in the New Year.

Just to keep you updated, Marcella is unable to run the pottery workshop in November as planned, but Trine has kindly volunteered to organise a Christmas card workshop instead.

Our next meeting is on 12 October when Jan Warner will be talking on ‘Survival of the Fittest’. We also plan to have a sales table so please bring books, jigsaws, plants or anything you think might sell – please price the items in advance. The doors will open at 1.30.pm and Anne will be organising a raffle for us.

Our future events include a visit to Aston  Pottery on Tuesday 16 November, the Christmas lunch on Friday 3 December and the Christmas party at our Tuesday 14 December meeting at Northcourt Centre. More details to follow.

I look forward to seeing you all at our October meeting.

In the meantime, take care.

Moira
