So what was our October talk about?

Our speaker in October was Jan Warner whose intriguingly titled talk “The survival of the fittest” looked at child rearing since the 17th century. There were plenty of opportunities to reflect on how ideas and practice had changed over the centuries.

She illustrated it with a fascinating collection of child related items from times gone by.
