Northcourt Centre Open Event

Northcourt Centre, the home of Abingdon Fitzharrys WI, held a clubs and societies open afternoon on Sunday 7th July. The many groups who meet at the Centre were there to talk about and demonstrate what they do and to welcome potential new members, including our WI.  It was a wonderful opportunity to find out what is going on in our busy local community centre.  The day also raised a splendid £1256.60 towards the upkeep and improvement of the Centre’s facilities, which are benefitting immediately from a fresh coat of paint on the outside walls (see below).

Abingdon Fitzharrys welcomed visitors with a display table showing some of what we do (pictured below) and a Guess the Weight of the cake competition.

The Abingdon Fitzharrys Art Group joined in by presenting a colourful and varied exhibition of their work.
