February 2026
Congratulations to us – 60 years old!
I hope most of you will be able to attend on 10 February and help us celebrate our Diamond Anniversary. Don’t forget to reply to the invitation. We will have a raffle but no sales table or books.
January is often a dreary month weather wise, but worry not, soon the first signs of spring will arrive and more sun, lots more sun please.
Twenty-one of us went to the Oxford Operatic Society’s production of The Sound of Music in January. Wow, what a show! Later this year the Operatic Society is putting on something different at the Oxford Playhouse, Songs from the Shows. There will be two dates only, 3 and 4 July. More information to come.
We welcome Marga as a new member this month.
If you haven’t been to an Oxfordshire Federation of WI’s annual meeting yet, do give it a go. This year’s meeting is on 25 March. It’s a good day, with lots of interesting stalls as well as good speakers.
There will be an envelope inside your Oxfordshire Inspires Newsletter from our treasurer with information on how to pay your WI subscription this year.
