August 2026 No monthly meeting but our Garden Party instead.

Following the vote at July’s meeting, it seems Jerusalem is here to stay! A bit more gusto and it will sound amazing! We might with luck have some musical guidance. I hope you realise how truly unique we are.

The last issue of the Oxfordshire Inspires magazine was a double one, so there is just my news this time. The warm weather has been difficult for many of us – a bit better today, Friday and tomorrow. One day at a time!

I would like to thank Dawn for all her ideas and research arranging walks and outings. We are lucky to have many opportunities to get together outside regular meetings.  Do make a note of all the dates below. With so many new members and a busy meeting, these extra activities are when you truly get to know others and make new friends. If you have any new ideas for other activities, please tell us.
