Sunday 26 April – an afternoon walk with the Walking Group around Radley Lakes followed by refreshments at Peachcroft Farm café.

Tuesday 28 April 2pm at Drayton Village Hall – the Jubilee Group of WI’s presents “Pandemonium entertains”. A chance to listen to the popular Wantage band. The members of Pandemonium sing and play a variety of instruments, including: melodeon, recorder, English concertina, bodhran, guitar, bass, violin, piccolo, Irish banjo and mandolin. Their repertoire includes tunes, monologues, recitations, and poetry – serious and light-hearted – and they sing many popular songs.

Wednesday 13 May – the Walking Group will meet outside the Anchor pub, Abingdon at 11am. They will walk to the Marina, then across the fields to Drayton, where there will be the option of a pub lunch and a chance to catch to X2 back to Abingdon.

Sunday 31 May – the Walking Group will meet at Rye Farm car park at 1.30 pm. They will take a leisurely riverside walk towards Culham and back, followed by tea and cake at the Riverside Café.

Wednesday 10 June – the Walking Group are going on a private tour of Oxford Botanic Garden with guide Peter. starting there at 11am. 

Saturday 4 July a trip to Oxford Playhouse to see the Oxford Operatic Society’s summer production “The Rhythm of Life” – a celebration of musical theatre.
