Christmas celebrations 2024

Abingdon Fitzharrys WI got together for two Christmas celebrations in December this year.  The first was a lunch attended by thirty members in the cosy and welcoming surroundings of The Merry Miller pub in Cothill.

The second chance to celebrate together was the December monthly meeting. Here mulled wine and mince pies were the order of the day and the special Christmas tombola proved popular. Entertainment was provided by Deborah Ellis, who describes herself as “a poet, but not as you know it”. A Christmas collection of items for the homeless has been an Abingdon Fitzharrys tradition for some years now and members proved as generous in their donations as ever.
