December newsletter
Season of Goodwill.
Another year! Time flies when you have fun and l do hope you have all had some fun this year. Like Polyanna, l try to be positive even when things go wrong. Christmas can be a hard time for many so it’s good to help, visit, give to or phone those who are lonely or need help.
We have had several visitors and quite a few new members this year. The ethos of the Wl is Truth-Tolerance-Friendship and Justice. That covers a multitude with maybe Friendship top of the list. Time to make new friends?
I will see many of you for our Christmas lunch on Thursday 5 December and l might even take a photo or two. As you might have gathered, I can’t stop myself. It’s good to look back on memories – don’t forget to look at all our scrapbooks when they are out.
Just 21 more days until the winter solstice and lighter times ahead.
Have a lovely Christmas!
