Half way through 2025 – Gosh.
Quite a lively June meeting with a lively speaker, We welcome Christine as a new member and Liz as a visitor. 
The summer months are always busy and several members might miss a meeting or two.

Karen is busy collating ideas for our next programme . Do respond to her request sent out on email.

Northcourt Centre has received an offer to install a defibrillator from David Wilson Homes at Kings Gate new development in North Abingdon. This will be accepted subject to conditions.

The Sales / Raffle tables – We are always grateful for donations, but the Wl cupboard has limited space so please take home any of your donations which haven’t been sold from the sales table. I am constantly sorting it out.
As for the raffle – we all enjoy a treat, don’t we?
Welfare Officer –  contact Hilary about members who are poorly and might like a visit. We try very hard to make sure our members are valued.
Lunch Club Tuesday 22 July 12.30 pm at the Spread Eagle, Northcourt Road 12.30 pm. Contact Pauline.
Book Library Janet H and her helper Janet M now run a book library. Have a look and find a recommended book!
Coffee Club  Sunday 6 July 2 pm onwards at Coffee Aroma, High Street, Abingdon 
Craft Group Friday 25 July 2pm at Northcourt Centre. Contact Hilary.
Art Group  Every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month at Northcourt Centre. Contact Viv.
Next monthly meeting  Tuesday 8 July  meet the author of the “The Nostrils series’’ about a policeman with a good nose for crime. Recommended speaker. 

Garden Party at Trine’s House Wednesday 13 August.  Bring a CHAIR if possible! Tickets £3.50 Donations of a cake or a raffle prize gratefully accepted.

Visit to Worcester College Gardens Wednesday 3 September. Contact Dawn. 
Payment of £25.50 incl. Tour/Tea/Cake Dis due at the July meeting.
Free Visit to Tackley Headquarters of the Oxfordshire Federation of WIs Tuesday 16 September. Sign up on the board at the monthly meeting if you are interested.
Jubilee Group Meeting Monday 29 September 7.30pm at Drayton Village Hall ‘’Lesley Smith – Historian aka Boudicca’’ Tickets £5.00 on sale now. Don’t miss this! Our WI are responsible for selling books and puzzles at this event  – donations welcome.
