June 2025 Newsletter
Flaming June, now we need more rain!
I am sorry quite a few of you missed our May meeting. Not only did we have enough tomato plants to start a shop,
we welcomed Andrea as a new member and Carol, Betty and Jean are waiting in the wings. Nicola Pratley’s
exquisite voice and an impressive sound system made it all very special.
A new members’ coffee/cake morning in the Morgan room the following day finished off a busy WI week nicely.
The walking group set up by Jenny has fallen by the wayside. If anyone is a keen walker and wants to have another go – please feel free to pass a board around for names.
Please keep any magazines you might have with fruit or vegetable related pictures. It is for our in-house meeting in November.
The Sales Table – please bring books, puzzles and unwanted presents, and plants if any are still going spare.
