One woman and her dog

Published by AbingdonFitzharrysWI on

Abingdon Fitzharrys member Viv and her golden Labrador Jemma appeared recently in the magazine WI Life in a feature on WI members and their dogs.  As well as being a loved family dog, Jemma plays a special role as a canine blood donor for the Pet Blood Bank.  With Viv’s support, Jemma has now donated eight times, which means she may have saved the lives of up to 32 dogs.  Viv told members about Jemma’s magnificent achievement and their experience of the magazine photoshoot at our October meeting.

WI Life is the national magazine of the WI and is delivered directly to all members eight times a year.
