Newsletter – July 2018
Dear All
I do hope you are all enjoying this beautiful weather we are having. I have just come in from the garden to email you all with a few reminders.
Next Tuesday’s (10th July 2018) meeting is Richard McMahon talking to us about the Children’s Air Ambulance. After refreshments the social committee will be inviting members to give an account of a funny, frightening or unusual happening you may have experienced. Please put your thinking caps on and be ready to entertain us.
Thank you to everyone for your efforts last month. The raffle raised £28, the desserts raised £33.33 and the sales table £10.55 – a total of £71.88 for funds. Well done everyone.
To see if we can raise a little bit more, this month’s raffle is a fruit and veg raffle. We are asking if members would please each bring to the meeting a piece/s of fruit or some vegetables which we can then divide up and raffle.
