Dance around the Maypole! If you feel like a jig do, but please no rain dance. Enough is enough!

I know that those of you that came in April enjoyed the talk about the Foundlings. Such a lovely man.

Four of our members went to Oxfordshire Federation of WIs speakers selection day in Benson. It was a wonderful day with fun, music, and a more serious talk about leprosy.

Ann Prior has agreed to host an ad hoc sub committee for planning our programme for 2025 -26.  Pauline, a brand new member, is helping her. One more person is needed. We also welcome back former member Jan to our WI this month.

Next month we hope to have lots of homegrown cuttings and plants on our sales table, we just need a bit more sunshine and l still live in hope.

Sheila, our oldest member, showed the craft group how to stitch cards last month.  We loved it so much we want to continue next month. Photos will be shown. Thank you, Sheila.

Book Club? I am still hoping that someone who loves reading comes forward to run one.

May’s monthly meeting 14 May. We will all make a small flower arrangement with Val. Everything is

If you picked up a bulb catalogue, please bring your order in and give it to Hilary.

Saturday Matinee of Funny Girl at Oxford Playhouse 13 July 2.30 pm.  You can sign up at the May meeting if you would like to go. Although not as well known as some shows it has some lovely music. Don’t miss out.
