Craft taster session

Published by AbingdonFitzharrysWI on

The craft taster session at November’s Monthly meeting found members absorbed and busy trying out the variety of crafts on offer at four different tables. Diane led a table making where Origami Christmas trees could be used to make lovely cards.  Sheila showed us several ways to fold a napkin, which again could be used to make attractive cards.
Trine led the making of small fabric hexagons which could be used in a number of ways.  The Art Group had prepared various shapes in striking designs to colour.

All the crafts were much enjoyed by members. So much so that it was hard to drag them away for a cup of tea, to buy a raffle ticket or to look at the large selection of books on the second hand book stall. A really successful afternoon and thanks to all who gave their time preparing for this.
