Abingdon Fitzharrys WI held its annual general meeting on 8 March, when it said good-bye and thank you to departing President Moira and departing Treasurer Anne, and welcomed new President Trine and her committee. The next committee meeting at the beginning of April will decide who is going to take on the roles of secretary and treasurer.

The AGM coincided with International Women’s Day, and members tested their vocabulary by seeing how many words they could make out of the phrase.  It looks like they have plenty of word power.
