Summer outing 2022

Quite a few of us had a wonderful WI summer outing to Christ
Church Cathedral in Oxford. We were privileged to have a guided tour from Jim Godfrey, who gave us an excellent talk on the Cathedral last year. Thank you to Moira for organising the tour.

Lewis Carroll wasn’t his real name?

So many clues and stories in many corners about places we all know
locally, incuding the treacle well in Binsey that’s not really treacle!

The gardens were stunning and the whole place took just 4 years to build
Incredible.
