Saving Denman Appeal

In 2016 all W.Is were requested to fund raise to Save Denman.  Some members of Fitzharrys WI formed a small working party and various fund raising events took place such as a lunch, coffee mornings and serving slices of cake with refreshments at monthly meetings.  A final push was requested by Denman with the suggestion that coffee mornings be held early in March.  Fitzharrys held a coffee morning on 7th March, when a final £75 was raised, this resulted in over £900 being raised by Fitzharry’s W.I.
